Information and Registration
Introduction.
New England Corporate Counsel Association, Inc. (NECCA), a Massachusetts non-profit corporation, is a membership association of in-house/corporate counsel primarily from Massachusetts, although in-house/corporate counsel from other New England states are encouraged to join. NECCA meets monthly from September through June for a seminar on legal issues and topics of common interest, and for members to share resources and to network.
Meetings.
Each monthly meeting includes a two-hour seminar designed specifically for in-house counsel, conducted by top experts in their fields, covering various substantive legal issues, including employment, real estate, commercial and intellectual property law as well as career and law department management. There is ample opportunity during or after the seminar for questions and answers from the seminar presenters, who are delighted to share their years of experience with NECCA members. Each seminar is either preceded by breakfast, or followed by lunch or a cocktail reception, depending on the time of day of the seminar.
Benefits.
As a NECCA member, you are afforded opportunities for continuing education designed for in-house counsel and for meeting colleagues who have similar concerns. NECCA’s current membership of over 100 attorneys employed by over 70 companies provides extensive opportunity for networking, an additional benefit of NECCA membership. NECCA members also have exclusive access to the members-only portions of the www.necca.com website, which contains substantive and networking features.
